Capcom just revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, which will include new creatures, multilayer weaponry, balance changes, and more, will be released at the end of this month.
Lagiacrus has frequently been hinted at in the trailer and promotional photos for the update. The other monsters will include new tempered monsters (8★) and a new Arch-tempered monster, in addition to the hinted Lagiacrus. The game’s director, Yuya Tokuda, included the game changes in the Director’s Letter for May 2025. The Director’s Letter from May 2025 also details the quality of life improvements that will be made to the game.
